Neurology Chief E. Steve Roach, MD, has been appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief of Pediatric Neurology. Since 1985, the journal has published cutting-edge research on all aspects of the profession. This prestigious appointment is a major recognition of Dr. Roach’s clinical, administrative and leadership talents. The achievement is especially noteworthy as the journal has only had one previous Editor-in-Chief since its founding.
In addition to leading the Section of Neurology, Dr. Roach serves as Vice-Chair of Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s, and is Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Recognized among the “Best Doctors in America,” Dr. Roach wrote the first textbook on cerebrovascular disorders in children and has written or co-authored five other books along with more than 200 articles and book chapters on stroke and genetic disorders. He currently serves as president of the Child Neurology Society.
