Polydactyly Surgery Referrals

(From the October 2013 Issue of MedStat)

The Hand Program in the Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers polydactyly (extra digits) surgery for children who are at least six months of age. Families who are referred to the program will have an initial consultation when the child is at least five months old and then the surgery will be scheduled when they reach at least six months. Physicians are encouraged to share the age requirements of this surgery when referring families. For more information about this program, or to make a referral, call (614) 722-6299 or fax (614) 722-5826.
