The Hospital Pharmacy, on the blue path in the new main hospital, is eager to provide the first prescription fill for any patients being discharged. This is a convenient way to make sure patients receive the medications and the counseling they need without adding another stop on their way home. Prescriptions with remaining refills can be easily transferred to the patient’s preferred local pharmacy by our pharmacists. In fact, the Hospital Pharmacy is the best option for a patient’s first fill because of the safety measures taken to ensure prescriptions align with medical records and because of the specialized education our pharmacists can offer patients.
