Katherine Deans, MD, and Peter Minneci, MD, principal investigators in the Center for Innovation in Pediatric Practice recently were awarded a $247,000 grant from the National Collaborative for Innovation in Quality Measurement (NCINQ) for their studies on health care quality measures using the electronic health record for children in foster care. Their overall goal is to improve health outcomes for children and families through the creation of quality measures that best reflect value in health care delivery at every level of the health care system.
