November Employee of the Month
Fayona James, Help Me Grow program at The Center For Family Safety and Healing
Congratulations to November Employee of the Month Fayona James. As part of the Help me Grow program, Fayona works in the community and in family homes, often in situations and environments that are challenging and uncomfortable. Fayona is focused on, and dedicated to, the families with whom she works, and she does so without complaint regarding the conditions or obstacles that she faces. Fayona shows patience and respect and embraces an attitude of hopefulness for her families that result in high levels of program adherence and increased lengths of stay, both key variables to success in the program. Fayona’s quiet and unassuming leadership and her relentless focus on providing families with the care they need are qualities allow the hospital to reach our goal of creating optimal health for every child in our community.
November Volunteer of the Month
Rose Eby, 545 hours of service
Congratulations to Rose Eby on her selection as the November Volunteer of the Month. Rose began volunteering in March 2008. All of her 545 hours of service have been to the C4/A2 NICU infants, families and staff. Rose has a personality that everyone gravitates to. No matter what needs to be done, Rose is willing to help. The volunteers on C4 were among the first to have access to Vocera and Rose uses Vocera to assure the best communication with staff and care of the patients. “Rose always has a positive attitude and has a smile on her face,” says Karen Clark, RN.
