2017-18 Intern Classes Announced

Nationwide Children's Hospital is pleased to announce its successful match for the Categorical Pediatrics and Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Programs. The three residency programs at Nationwide Children’s conduct recruitment through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). A total of 2032 applications were received, of which 466 of the top candidates were interviewed and 47 interns were matched.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is committed to offering financial assistance to people who have health care needs and are not able to pay for care. No child will be denied care due to inability to pay for services. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid. For all other patients, Nationwide Children’s has financial assistance programs for those who qualify. Financial support staff are available to help families sign up for insurance (including Medicaid) or to find out if they qualify for financial assistance.
