Nationwide Children’s Homecare Prepares for RSV Season
RSV Season is upon us. As providers, we know the complications that RSV can cause. This is especially true for pediatric patients younger than two years old who have been born premature and/or have heart or lung conditions. Nationwide Children's Hospital Homecare’s Synagis Team works collaboratively with hospital and community physicians to provide the best care and best outcomes for babies who are considered high-risk for developing severe RSV. Information regarding RSV and the use of Synagis to protect those patients who may need it is available at NationwideChildrens.org/Homecare-Synagis. Homecare’s Synagis Team will provide more details in an October PediaCast interview. If you have questions, call (614) 355-1100 or (800) 466-2727 and ask to speak to a Synagis coordinator.
