(From the August 2015 Issue of MedStat)
The Clinical Fellowship in Quality and Safety Leadership at Nationwide Children’s Hospital prepares postdoctoral fellows to drive improvements in the quality of care and patient safety. Graduates will be well equipped to eventually assume senior leadership positions such as Chief Quality and Safety Officer, Medical Director for Quality Improvement or Chief Medical Officer. The two-year fellowship will admit one trainee on or about July 1, 2016. The program is integrated with the Masters of Business Operational Excellence (MBOE) at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. This is the only fellowship program in the U.S. which is both pediatric-focused and leads to an advanced degree. For additional information about the new fellowship, email Thomas Bartman, MD, PhD at Thomas.Bartman@NationwideChildrens.org or Wallace Crandall, MD at Wallace.Crandall@NationwideChildrens.org. Please consider potential internal or external candidates.
