Topics for this event include the relationship between Factor product choice and inhibitors, structural and functional aspects of FVIII, immunology of FVIII inhibitors, assay issues on inhibitors, inhibitor pathogenesis, and biorepositories of hemophilia specimens.

The goal of the conference is to offer science, methodology, practice initiatives and discussion points for the participant to explore. This conference will utilize sport-specific evaluation techniques for the young athlete and will discuss treatments that are supported by best evidence to address conditions unique to the active adolescent population. Sessions also will include applications of differential diagnosis principles to identify conditions in adolescents that require physician referral.
