The Laser Capture Molecular (LCM) Core is now open at The Ohio State University and is available to meet the laser capture microdissection needs of all investigators at OSU and Nationwide Children’s.
Laser capture microdissection enables isolation of specific cells from selected sections of microscopic regions of tissue. LCM Core services include staining and sample preparation for LCM, high-throughput captures and downstream molecular analysis from LCM- captured cells/tissue elements. Molecular-analysis services supported by core include proteomics, genomics, miRNA, real-time polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR), and DNA analysis from small LCM- captured samples.
