Kan N. Hor, MD, recently was appointed as the Director of Cardiac MRI in The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s. Dr. Hor, board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, comes to Nationwide Children’s from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He also will serve as an associate professor of pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Hor completed fellowships in both pediatric cardiology and advance cardiac imaging at Cincinnati Children’s. He completed his pediatric training at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. Dr. Hor’s clinical interests include cardiac MRI, cardiac CT angiography, echocardiography (TTE and TEE) and congenital heart disease. His academic research interest includes cardiac MRI and echocardiography and its application for analysis of cardiac strain and synchrony in Duchenne muscular dystrophy, heart failure and congenital heart disease.
