Featured Clinic: Williams Syndrome Clinic

The Williams Syndrome Clinic is a collaboration of providers from Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University Nisonger Center. Led by Jennifer R. Walton, MD, MPH, and Marilee Martens, PhD, this family-centered clinic provides diagnostic, treatment and support services to children and adolescents with Williams syndrome and their families.

The developmental and behavioral approach to care is provided by a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team that includes the following providers:

  • Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician
  • Psychologist
  • Speech Pathologist
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Physical Therapist
  • Nurse
  • Social Worker

Services may include a comprehensive evaluation with special attention to the unique medical, developmental and behavioral problems experienced by children with Williams syndrome. Referrals to other specialty medical and therapeutic services, as well as a laboratory and radiologic assessments, are arranged as necessary.
