Every Gift Matters.

(From the December 2012 issue of Inside Nationwide Children's)

Brett, 6, has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, an incurable genetic disease. Brett will receive treatment at Nationwide Children's over the holidays.

No child should have to spend the holidays in the hospital. They should be home with the people they love. But our work doesn't stop just because of the holidays. Kids in our community still need chemotherapy, heart surgery and dialysis. Every one of them will be cared for here at Nationwide Children's. We never turn a child away and every child is treated regardless of a family's ability to pay.

Community giving at every level makes it possible for us to care for all these children and fund the research that will find cures to the diseases that impact them.  Every Gift Matters.

We’re sharing this message with the community through our holiday campaign. There is no better time than now, during the holidays, to let the community know we need their support.

Every Gift Matters tells our story through a multi-faceted campaign including a commercial, print and radio ads and holiday events. Look for Every Gift Matters on TV, at the movie theaters and as you do your holiday shopping. And help us get the word out.

Every gift of every size is essential.
Every gift is needed.
Every gift is used.
Every gift matters.
