Loren E. Wold, PhD, principal investigator in the Center for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Research has been appointed editor-in-chief of Life Sciences. The journal’s editorial office will relocate to The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s after nearly 40 years at The University of Arizona. Dr. Wold will lead the team of Executive Editors and more than 40 Associate Editors.
Life Sciences is an international weekly journal that was started by Dr. Bernard B. Brodie at Duke University in 1962 and moved to The University of Arizona in 1973. The journal publishes articles that emphasize the molecular, cellular and functional basis of therapy, highlighting mechanisms that are relevant to all aspects of human disease and translation to patients.
