Awards and Recognition

(From the September 2016 Issue of MedStat)

Congratulations to Nationwide Children’s Comprehensive Cerebral Palsy program for meeting the quality standards necessary to be awarded the highest level of recognition as a Patient Centered Specialty Practice by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). As the first specialty practice at Nationwide Children’s to attain Level 3 recognition and one of only 5 programs in Ohio, the Comprehensive Cerebral Palsy program is a leader in providing specialty care focused on individual needs of each patient and their families. The NCQA is a private, non-profit organization that accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations and manages the evolution of HEDIS®, the performance measurement tool used by more than 90 percent of the nation’s health plans.
