Lee Budin, MD, associate administrative medical director, is moving to Chicago to assume the position of medical director for the Center of Excellence at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. There, he will be sharing the knowledge and skills he has developed while working at Nationwide Children’s. While here, he has served as the medical director for Partners for Kids, associate director for Pediatric Education in the Community Setting, medical director for Utilization Management, medical director for Navigate My Care, as well as multiple committees addressing communication and the hospital’s relationship with community providers. Dr. Budin also had leadership responsibilities in the community including his role as president of Central Ohio Primary Care. He is leaving his pediatric practice at Building Blocks Pediatrics. Although he will be missed here, we wish him the best in his new role in Chicago and we are confident that he will strengthen our relationship and sharing of information for the betterment of the care of children with Lurie Children’s.
