Mark A. Bechtel, MD

Mark A. Bechtel, MD, is a member of the Section of Dermatology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology and Director of the Division of Dermatology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Bechtel is currently listed in America’s Best Doctors. Dr. Bechtel’s primary interests are atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, cutaneous lymphomas and cutaneous signs of systemic disease. He serves on the American Academy of Dermatology’s Standards of Care and Guidelines Task Force. Dr. Bechtel has been an investigator in clinical trials in the use of tacrolimus for atopic dermatitis. He is active in teaching medical students, dermatology residents, pediatric residents and internal medicine residents.
