Biography

Margaret A. Chase, MD, is an attending physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Chase received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and completed residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Clinical research activities include the use of surfactant in acute lung injury. In addition, Dr. Chase serves as the MedFlight transport liaison for the ICU and is actively involved in the internal medicine/pediatrics residency program.
