Kinder Key serves as an auxiliary of Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is dedicated to providing new hope for young hearts by supporting The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s. Since its inception in 1954, Kinder Key's members have demonstrated their commitment by raising $3 million dollars toward the hospital’s mission of providing the highest quality health care to all children regardless of their ability to pay.
Kinder Key members make a minimum three year commitment. Active Members are required to make a minimum gift of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for annual membership dues, attend all regular meetings and serve on one or more standing committees. Kinder Key Angel

Candle with a Cause
Kinder Keys "Candle With A Cause" helps bring 'new hope to young hearts’ at The Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Each candle is carefully handcrafted out of up-cycled wine bottles from local restaurants in central Ohio, the finest natural soy and bees’ wax, and sustainable cotton wicks to create the best, environmentally friendly candle possible. Kinder Key Caroling has been an annual tradition since 1954 in Columbus. During the month of December, friends, family, co-workers and/or neighbors are invited to join together and spend an evening caroling. To help ensure a successful caroling experience, Kinder Key provides organizational tips and caroling supplies as well as one of its members as a contact person.
Denim and Diamonds
The premier event for Kinder Key held annually in April, the Denim & Diamonds Gala, invites guests to mix their jeans and their jewels for a casually elegant event. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a LIVE Auction, Silent Auction, Luck of the Draw Raffle, exclusive items in the “Diamond” Raffle and great music! Individual tickets and corporate sponsorship opportunities benefit The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

New and Used DVD Collection Project
Kinder Key has an ongoing project to collect new and used DVD's for distribution to children to watch while they are patients at Nationwide Children’s. Two local area businesses have graciously offered to provide drop boxes at their locations to collect DVD’s. We appreciate your donation and thank you for your support.

the Memorial Tournament
The Women’s Division of the Memorial Tournament is the premier organization responsible for coordinating the thousands of volunteers who are essential to the success of this PGA golf tournament. Kinder Key joins other Nationwide Children’s Auxiliaries in being an integral part of the volunteer force. Since the tournament's inception in 1976, the Memorial Tournament volunteers have raised over $8 million for Nationwide Children's Hospital.
