Katalin I. Koranyi, MD, is a member of the Section of Infectious Diseases, Medical Director of the Pediatric HIV Program and Co-Director of the International Adoption Clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include education of medical students and residents, and the management of children with infectious diseases, particularly HIV infection. Clinical research activities are focused on clinical trials dealing with vaccine development, pediatric HIV infections and antimicrobial agents in the treatment of infectious diseases. She is a co-investigator of the Ryan White IV Project (FACES) delivering family-centered care to HIV-infected children and their families.
