Jonathan D. Thackeray, MD

Jonathan D. Thackeray, MD, is Clinical Director of The Center for Family Safety and Healing at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition to hospital medicine, he is a member of the faculty of The Center and was appointed as Clinical Director of the Child Assessment Center in 2007. He also serves as the Director of the Step 2 Clinical Skills Program at the College of Medicine. Dr. Thackeray is active in the American Academy of Pediatrics' Section on Child Abuse and Neglect and serves as editor of the section's newsletter. He recently completed a two-year term as president of the Ohio Chapter of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and is a Scholar Member of the Ray E. Helfer Society and a member of the Ambulatory Pediatric Association. His professional interests include intimate partner violence and resident education. He is board certified in general pediatrics and internal medicine.
