John R. Kean, MD

John R. Kean, MD, is Chief of the Department of Orthopaedics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. His Primary clinical interests include orthopaedic management of cerebral palsy and neuromuscular diseases, pediatric trauma, sports injuries and foot deformities. Current professional activities and committees include: Medical Society of The Ohio State University Hospitals, Clinical Orthopaedic Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, Ohio State Orthopaedic Society, Columbus Orthopaedic Society, Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, Mid-America Orthopaedic Society, member of the Board of Councilors of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps, and Gillespie Pediatric Study Group.
