Jeffrey M. Hoffman, MD

Jeffrey M. Hoffman, MD, is an attending physician in the Emergency Department, a Clinical Informatics Specialist in the Information Services Department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. As a member of the Trauma Executive Committee, he has developed and implemented various trauma-related policies and has been involved in emergency medical services, disaster management and trauma education. Dr. Hoffman’s educational interests are also directed toward bedside teaching and didactic lectures to students, residents and fellows. He also lectures at local and regional medical conferences for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals. Most recently, Dr. Hoffman has been working with the Information Services Department to develop and implement a new hospital-wide electronic medical record and to bring other useful technologies to the service of patient care and safety.
