James A. Menke, MD

James A. Menke, MD, MS, is a member of the Section of Neonatology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His research interests include computer applications and biophysical monitoring in the neonatal intensive care unit. Currently, the main thrust of the research concerns computerized physician order entry and the alert system associated with it. Dr. Menke and others are data mining info about practices and medication errors. He is currently working to develop a data warehouse consisting of clinical documentation, order information, demographic information and financial information.
