Dr. Levitt spent a day presenting in Nashville, Tennessee to the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (2000 attendees from around the world) on colorectal surgical techniques to help veterinarians perform similar operations on dogs with rectal problems.
In early September, 2014, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Center for Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstruction (CCPR) team traveled to Cape Town, South Africa. The surgical mission was supported by Mending Kids International, a wonderful non-profit organization that helps children throughout the world. The team consisted of surgeons and nurses from Columbus, Ohio, Seattle, Washington, Israel, Italy, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and all members of Colorectal Team overseas (CTO).
