During the week of September 10, 2012, trainees from around the country visited Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University to attend the first dedicated myology training course offered in the United States. For five days, trainees attended lectures on clinical, basic science and genetic approaches to muscle diseases. Each afternoon, laboratory-track trainees attended basic science lab training sessions, and clinical trainees took part in workshops related to clinical muscle disease. Faculty included members of The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children's Hospital Muscle Group.
