The Columbus Crossroads project, one of the largest highway projects in Ohio, kicked off in September 2011 with reconstruction of the I-71/670 interchange. The I-71/670 project will improve safety, reduce congestion and connect neighborhoods. It will add a new travel lane on I-670 and reduce weaving across traffic lanes to exits. Twenty-two new bridges will be built, including a first of its kind cultural wall on the Long Street Bridge. This first phase of I-70/71 construction will be completed in 2014.
If you are travelling to one of our downtown Columbus locations the Columbus Crossroad project will impact your trip. Please allow more time for travel during construction and visit www.odot71670.org for traffic information, ramp closures, alternative routes and other news here to help you get to safely reach Nationwide Children's.
COTA bus stops in the area will change as the project progresses. Check with COTA for the bus stop information.- http://www.cota.com
