The first Nationwide Children’s Hospital Hematology and Oncology Outpatient Clinic provides expert care right nearby in Mansfield, Ohio. It is housed in our Close To HomeSM Center, which offers a range of specialized pediatric services.

At Nationwide Children’s, our partnership with you now extends beyond Columbus.

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive care, including diagnosis, treatment, long-term management and related services for pediatric patients of all ages with acute and chronic blood disorders and cancer. We provide psychosocial programs, long-term follow-up care, sibling support and school transitioning programs. Along with our partnership with Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center and The James Cancer Hospital, we ensure that our patients and families
have the tools and support they need to get well.

Our multidisciplinary team of experts includes physicians, surgeons, physician/clinician scientists, nurses and support staff, all working together to care for patients and families experiencing the following:

• Sickle cell disease
• Bruising/bleeding disorders
• Anemia
• Clotting disorders
• Neutropenia
• Disorders requiring stem cell transplantation
• Thrombocytopenia
• Genetic disorders involving blood and/or cancer
•  Lymphadenopathy
