Butterfly Guild
Butterfly Guild, an organization of women committed to raising funds for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, traces its roots to the hospital’s beginnings. Butterfly Guild has raised over $4 million to aid in the mission at Nationwide Children’s. In recent years, our contribution has gone to support the Hospice and Palliative Care Program. We are committed and honored to support this effort, and these families, during a time of great need.
Membership Information
Requirements
Butterfly Guild members make a minimum three and a half year commitment and participate in a variety of fundraising and service projects. Each woman is asked to join one of several committees that focus on a special projects. Her various talents may be used to design sets or costumes, while others for the operation and marketing of events. Members attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings.

Butterfly Guild Musical
Butterfly Guild presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast! Butterfly Guild members work behind the scenes to coordinate a professionally directed children’s play held annually at the historic Palace Theater. Our members manage all aspects of the production from auditions, ticket sales, costumes and back stage. This large-scale production attracts a very high-level of local talent. NovemBEARD
NovemBEARD is an opportunity for local growers to raise money for Butterfly Guild. There are several events that members plan and attend, leading up to a shave-off party held annually at Fado at Easton. Members also recruit the men in their lives to grow and raise money. Butterfly Guild has raised over $140,000 in the past six years though this event, money that is donated directly to the Hospice and Palliative Care program.
the Memorial Tournament
The Memorial Volunteer Committee of the Memorial Tournament is the premier organization responsible for coordinating the thousands of volunteers who are essential to the success of this PGA golf tournament. Butterfly Guild joins other Nationwide Children’s Hospital Auxiliaries in being an integral part of the volunteer force. Since the tournament's inception in 1976, the Memorial Tournament volunteers have raised over $20.5 million for Nationwide Children's Hospital.
