Gifts to Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation can be permanently recognized with the establishment of an Endowment.  Endowments offer lasting financial resources for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Endowed funds are extremely useful in enhancing the quality of the Hospital’s current programs and allows Children’s to extend our tradition of superior patient care, research, and education to future generations of children.

A minimum contribution of $25,000 is required to establish an Endowment fund.  Once established, additions of any amount may be made to the endowment at any time.  Endowments may be named for the donor, in memory or in honor of a loved one, or for the specific program it benefits. 

Endowment funds are invested as part of Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation’s permanent endowment which consists of equity (stocks) and fixed income (bonds) securities.

Contributions to Endowment funds qualify for charitable income tax deductions as provided by law and may reduce any applicable gift or estate taxes.

Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts honor individuals celebrating birthdays, weddings, birth of a child, graduations, anniversaries, and any other special occasion and or accomplishment.

We will acknowledge your tribute gift by sending a note to the family or friend in whose name the gift was made.  The amount of your gift will not be mentioned, only that you were thinking of them.  You will then be sent a separate receipt for the gift.

Memorial Gifts
