Is the Online application different from the paper application?
|
|
The Nationwide Children's Hospital Online application collects all the same data as our paper application.This includes the requirements of demographic information, vocational skills, employment history, educational background and references. Please have the necessary resources available before you begin our application.

How is the application processed?
|
|
Once you are satisfied with your application and you submit it, it is stored in a secure database. Applications are then forwarded to the appropriate manager for consideration. If you are selected as a candidate for a position, you will be called by a Children's Hospital representative to be scheduled for an interview.

What if I get an error?
|
|
If you receive an error while you are filling out your application, please notify the Webmaster. The preferred process is to copy the error that was displayed and paste it into a new e-mail using this Webmaster link - askhr@NationwideChildrens.org. You can also use your "print screen" button then paste the image into an email.

What if I do not complete the application?
|
|
Applications that are not completed are not saved, however, if you choose to register an account prior to applying, your personal information will be retained for future applications. If you do not complete the entire application, you will not be considered for a position.

How many jobs can I apply for?
|
|
You may have three active applications on file at any given time.

Do you need a separate application for each position?
|
|
Yes, you do need to fill out separate applications. However, if you have registered, much of your personal information will be retained for each application.

When should I expect to hear back from Children's HR department?
|
|
If you are selected as a candidate for a position, the HR recruiter will call you to be scheduled an interview. At any time, you may check your application status by clicking on ‘Log In Now’ on the Careers page.
