A four day course (2days/week for 2 weeks) offered 3 times/year, focuses on the on-going evaluation and decision making process, pathophysiology, and management used in caring for the sick newborn.

This one day course focuses on training physicians, registered nurses, registered respiratory care practitioners or physician assistants who have completed the NRP program lessons 1-7, as NRP instructors for their institution.
This half-day course was designed for healthcare professionals who care for the NICU graduate outside the hospital setting. The course covers common disorders seen in the NICU graduate, common homecare equipment and supplies, resources available to the NICU graduate, as well as nutrition and feeding issues.

The ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) course is for those who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of adult patients.
Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
PALS is intended for Healthcare Providers whose daily occupation demands proficiency in the knowledge and skills of Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
–The PALS Renewal Course is recommended every 2 Years for PALS Providers.

This program is a national continuing education program. This course was designed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is specifically written for First Responders, EMTs, and Paramedics. PEPP provides a comprehensive program, based on the pediatric objectives of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) National Standard Curriculum. PEPP offers a highly interactive program using case-based lectures, small group scenarios, live action videos, and hands-on skill stations.
The purpose of this program is to improve the prehospital care responder's knowledge and comfort level with chronically ill and technology dependent children and the EMS issues that affect them. Lectures, videos, case scenarios and hands on skill stations will be used to provide basic information on various chronic medical conditions these children may have, as well as the technologies and equipment that may be necessary for their survival.
At the end of this conference, participants should be able to:–Complete a self assessment of current clinical practice in asthma care–Accurately identify, diagnose and treat asthma in young children–Utilize current EPR guidelines to reliably classify the patient's asthma and adjust treatment options as appropriate for the patient's severity–Differentially diagnosis conditions in patients which could be misdiagnosed as asthma–Provide asthma education to patients and family and properly demonstrate use of all common asthma inhalers–Individualize care for asthma patients according to cultural and social belief systems–Appropriately refer an asthma patient to an allergist–Provide smoking cessation education to patient family members
