Hiren Patel, MD, is Medical Director of the Renal Dialysis Unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. His clinical interests include glomerular and tubular disorders, hypertension and end-stage renal disease. His Research interests include improving clinical outcomes in chronic kidney disease, particularly in the dialysis and renal transplant populations. Dr. Patel is the local principal and co-investigator for eight active multi-center studies.
