Clinical, Teaching & Research Interests*:

Robert L. Ruberg, MD, is Chief of the Section of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Cleft Palate Craniofacial Clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ruberg is also a Professor of Surgery and Senior Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He has been very involved in national plastic surgery activities and is immediate past President of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons. He previously served as President of the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, Vice Chair of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and Chair of the Residency Review Committee for Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ruberg’s special interests are in children with cleft lip, cleft palate and other craniofacial anomalies.
