ADHD Academy Series – What is AD/HD
Join experts from Children's Hospital as they help kids understand what AD/HD is, why they have it, and their role in control.
Session is for kids age8-12. Kids MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Topic/Objectives:
Help children understand the physiological components of AD/HD
Keynote Speaker:
David Michalec, PhD Psychologist, Children's Hospital Behavioral Health Services.
Registration Fees:
$10 per program. Register for four (4) programs and the 5th program is free. Preregistration is required for all sessions. Registrations are accepted until two weeks before the program or until the program is full - whichever comes first. Walk-ins are discouraged as programs fill quickly. Any walk-ins that can be accommodated will be charged a $15 per person fee.
Intended Audience:
Kids age 8-12 and their parents or caregivers. Teachers are welcome.
Inclement Weather:
We follow the Columbus Public Schools policy for weather closure. If a program is canceled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled for another evening.
Parking:
Parking is free at all Close to Home Health Care Center locations.
Child Care:
We are sorry but we are unable to provide childcare for this program.
Confirmation/Cancellations:
A confirmation letter with directions to the class will be sent to all participants registered two weeks before the program. After that time, no confirmation will be sent.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received two weeks prior to the class. At that time, refunds will be made minus 30% for administrative costs. No refunds will be given after that time.
