Schools of Nursing - Epic Required Instructor Courses

If you are currently a nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and are a nursing instructor who has not completed the instructor course, please register for one of the following classes:

Classes will be held from 4 - 5 p.m. in Training Room 1 at 255 E. Main Street.

If you are not a nurse currently practicing in the hospital at Nationwide Children's Hospital and have not attended the Nursing Instructor Training for the EpicCare Electronic Medical Record, you are required to attend two 4-hour classes of Inpatient RN Epic training, and the Nursing Instructor training class (times are listed above) before you begin instruction of nursing students on a unit. Fingerprinting for the Epic electronic medical record is scheduled for 12 noon on the first day of class. Please register for 2 sessions in the same month:

Classes will be held on Friday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. in Training Room 4

Medication Bar Coding for nursing instructors is required.
