Dr. Ammons' clinical interests include inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology care. His research interests include pediatric cardiac catheterization and the effect of pulsatile pulmonary blood flow in patients with bidirectional cavopulmonary anastomoses. Dr. Ammons received his Bachelor of Science and Physics from Vanderbilt University. He completed his pediatrics internship and residency at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He went on to complete his pediatric cardiology fellowship at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Michigan. He was a Clinical Associate at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he received training in advanced interventional cardiac catheterization.
