Parent Diabetes Group Workshop

Date:  Saturday, August 9

Time: 9:30 - 11:30 AM

Where: Main Campus - ED-054

Details:  The Parent Diabetes Group Work Shop provides a safe environment for parents to meet other parents, to explore and  better understand the physical and emotional effects of their child’s diabetes. The basis of the program is to create awareness,  while recognizing resistance in the mind and body. We will practice breath work, as well as relieve stress and anxiety, through the use of therapeutic yoga. During this time, attendees will be able to have an open discussion about being a parent of a child with diabetes.

RSVP: To RSVP, please send an email to endoRSVP@NationwideChildrens.org.

Additional Information:

  • Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat if you have one— if not, one will be provided for you.

  • There is parking provided in the Outpatient Care Center parking garage at 555 South 18th street. The Education wing will be on your left side when entering through the sliding automatic doors.
