David J. Thornton, PhD, is the Director of Core Laboratory and Director of Laboratory Information Systems at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is board certified in Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Thornton received the Bernard J. Katchman Award for his outstanding contributions to the aims and purposes of the Ohio Valley Section of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry.
