Daniel Ruggles, DO, is a member of the Department of Orthopedics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ruggles received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California. Dr. Ruggles completed fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopaedics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and a fellowship in Pediatric Limb Reconstruction at Sinai Hospital’s International Limb Lengthening Center in Baltimore, Maryland. From 2010-2012, he served as Medical Director of the CURE International Hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Ruggles' surgical interests include pediatric trauma and fractures, congenital and developmental limb deformities, as well as general pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis. He currently sees patients at the Parsons Orthopedic Center on Nationwide Children's Main Campus.
