Medical Grand Rounds promotes the maintenance and advancement of pediatric care among primary care and subspecialty pediatricians. It provides a forum in which recognized experts present current information regarding diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases, outline diagnostic approaches, provide updates on new research, and discuss clinical management related to the care of pediatric patients. Surgical Outreach Courses provide updates and tools for primary care physicians to support care for patients and families before, during and after surgery. The variety of surgical intervention topics relate to Urology, Orthopedics, Obesity, Cardiology, Neonatology, and Pediatric Surgery. For Content Only For CME Credit
Pediatric Diversity Training assists physicians, care providers and other health care professionals to identify and address the growing and diverse needs of patients and families during clinical episode, by promoting cross cultural communication techniques as well as addressing cultural and religious beliefs/practices. When viewing presentations for Category 1 CME credit you must agree to the below disclaimer. Then you will be prompted to register for an account by entering contact information and creating a password for logging in to the online system in the future. Once an account has been established, you may enroll for available CME courses listed in the catalog. After enrolling for a course, you must view all sections of the online activity and then complete a posttest and evaluation. A certificate will be mailed to you after completion of the course.
The Nationwide Children's Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Nationwide Children's Hospital designates this education activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Currently, there is no fee to view CME On demand. Also, participants may only receive Category 1 CME Credit for the on demand activities, if they did not receive credit for attending the live session.
