Meet Allison

As Allison’s parents prepared for the arrival of their baby girl in the summer of 2009, they never expected that she would be born with a facial difference. It was not until Allison’s birth in June that they learned that she had a unilateral cleft of the lip and palate. Understandably, they were filled with many fears and uncertainties. Allison's family was referred to Dr. Kirschner, who provided reassurance and explained all that he and his team would do to take care of their baby girl. Her family is grateful that she has been given a life filled with hope...and a wonderful smile.

Meet Paul

When the Morgans adopted Paul, they were up for a challenge of parenting a child with special needs. After talking to Dr. Richard Kirschner, Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, about his nationally recognized team of experts, the Morgans knew that Nationwide Children's could provide comprehensive care so Paul will have every chance for success in life.
