R. Dawn Comstock, PhD, is a Principal Investigator for the Reporting Information Online (RIO™) study.

Christy (Knox) Collins, MA
Senior Research Associate

Christy is a Senior Research Associate in the Center for Injury Research and Policy (CIRP) of The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She joined CIRP in 2004. Christy received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology at Ohio Northern University and a Master of Arts in Sociology at the University of New Hampshire where she focused on social research in partner and family violence. Her current research includes sports-related violence as a risk factor for sports-related injury among youth, the epidemiology of sports, recreation and leisure activity-related injuries among children and adolescents and the life-long health benefits associated with an active childhood. Christy is the project manager responsible for the coordination and daily maintenance of RIO™ studies.
