Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Application

Attention Applicants:  We are happy to accommodate those candidates who are interested in applying to our Child and Adolescent Fellowship Program after completion of 3 years of Adult Psychiatry training.  Please note that these applicants will need to adhere to the same application process as candidates who have completed 4 years of Adult Psychiatry.  All applicants,  regardless of applying after the 3rd or 4th year must have completed the ACGME requirements for Adult Psychiatry.  All applicants must complete an NCH Application for Postdoctoral Fellowship Training Program (available on our website) and all applicants must register for the NRMP Match www.nrmp.org.

U.S. Citizenship Eligibility

• MD or DO
• Completed 3 yrs of U.S. Postgraduate training

Foreign Applicant Eligibility

• MD or DO
• Completed 3 yrs of U.S. Postgraduate training
• U.S. Citizen, Permanent resident, or J1 Visa Status

Applicant Criteria Checklist

• Completed Application and Personal Statement
• Complete CV
• Three (3) letters of reference on behalf of applicant (Foreign students must have 3 References from U.S. Physicians)
• Proof of Citizenship, Visa status (notarized) or sworn statement (notarized)
• Medical School transcripts
• Copy of Doctoral certificate
• Copy of ECFMG certificate (Foreign Medical school graduates ONLY)
• Copy of valid Medical license
• Verification (test scores, dates of completion) from USMLE Step I, II, and III
• Letter from general training program director
• Register for the NRMP Match
