Sports Medicine Athletic Trainers
Carlie Mankin, MS, ATC, LAT, is a nationally board certified athletic trainer and is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers’ Board. She is an alumna of The Ohio State University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology in 2014. After graduation, Carlie went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training degree at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Her time spent in FIU’s graduate program provided her with a variety of athletic training clinical experiences, including that with FIU’s Division I football, men’s basketball, and sand volleyball programs; FIU intramural sports; a physical therapy clinic; and a local high school. While in Miami, Carlie published an article on Iota Tau Alpha, the athletic training honors fraternity, in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association online blog, NATA Now.
Carlie currently serves as the Head Athletic Trainer at Lakewood High School and provides athletic training services as a physician extender in the Sports Medicine Clinic.
