Sports Medicine Athletic Trainers
Bill brings an extensive background from the high school setting to Nationwide Children's Hospital Sports Medicine, serving the past 33 years as the head athletic trainer at Westerville South High School. He has been very involved in the workings of the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association serving on the executive committee from 1998-2007 in various elected position. Bill has had experience serving with the United States Olympic Committee. In 1990 he spent time at the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs covering Men’s soccer and Ice Hockey. He then traveled with the Men’s Field Hockey to Los Angeles for the Olympic Festival. In 1993 he served as the athletic trainer for the USA Track and Field teams at the World University Games. In 1995 Bill was assigned to the Men’s field Hockey team and traveled to Argentina for the Pan Am Games.
