Nationwide Children's Hospital offers a growing range of evidence-based Behavioral Health services to address the needs of children, adolescents and their families. By bringing together a team of professionals from many disciplines including social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, child and adolescent psychiatry, developmental behavioral pediatrics, nursing and psychology, we work together to determine the best treatment options for each child.

We provide office-based care at our outpatient sites and also provide services in the home, school and juvenile justice settings. Additional specialties within that continuum include treatment services for trauma, eating disorders, delinquency and early childhood mental health.
All Behavioral Health clinicians are trained in evidence based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing as well as program-specific evidence-based treatment modalities such as Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the PAX Good Behavior Game.
