Barbara K Mackinaw-Koons, PhD

Barbara Mackinaw-Koons, PhD is a Clinical Child Psychologist at the Child Development Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at The Ohio State University. She provides direct clinical services, including psychological evaluation and treatment services, to children/adolescents with developmental disabilities and their families. She has a particular interest in treating mood and anxiety issues and collaborates in ongoing clinical research regarding the effectiveness of a psychoeducational intervention for prepubertal children with mood disorders. She is also interested in expanding psychological consultation services with primary care providers.
