Angela is the Clinical Leader for Inpatient Occupational Therapy Department in the Clinical Therapies Division. She is a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist with pediatric practice area of emphasis; State of Ohio licensed and registered. Angela treats patients throughout the organization; inpatient hospital, outpatient clinics and home care. She performs evaluations, treatment and equipment ordering in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Wheelchair Seating Clinic, Assistive Technology Collaborative Clinic Appointment and Muscular Dystrophy Association clinics. Angela is a visionary on various committees; Assistive Technology/ Alternative Augmentative Communications (AT/AAC) Clinical Outcomes Group chair, Collaborating Partners in Assistive Technology (CPAT) member, American Heart Association CPR instructor and April 2010 Employee of the Month nominee. Angela has advanced Neuro-Dynamic Therapy (NDT) certification for treatment of adults with hemiplegia. She presented on Assistive Technology Collaborative Clinic Appointment at Ohio Occupational Therapy Association conference in 2009. She is a rehabilitation technologies analysis consultant on The Efficacy of Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) in Infants with Unilateral Spastic Cerebral Palsy: A Pilot Study.
