Akua A. Amponsah, MD

Akua Amponsah, MD, is an attending physician in the Section of Hospital Pediatrics and the Division of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and did her pediatric training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan also in Detroit. Dr. Amponsah’s clinical interests include all aspects of general pediatrics. She is especially interested in child advocacy and health for our children in urban settings. She is board certified in pediatrics.
